“We've lost too many years in confronting history, let's not lose any more discussing what happened and why it happened.”

That sounds like a useful mantra President Macri. Focus on the things that will turn your country around.

Ah, it's to do with the Falkland Islanders and their lack of rights.

Malcorra - Transplanted population MercoPress 10 Nov 2016.

Malcorra said that historically the Argentine position was not to acknowledge for this case in particular the “self determination of peoples”, because 'kelpers' (Falkland Islanders) are a transplanted population, not aborigine.

Hm. Let's see: Falklands – Implanted Population:

Surely, the UK and Falklands Governments should politely advise The Netherlands Government that it is none of their business!

We talked. For 17 years. Then Argentina opted for trial by combat. Argentina lost. The matter is settled.

There is a reason for this move by Malcorra - the Queen of the Netherlands -
Maxima - was born in Argentina and is daughter of Jorge Zorreguieta, quite a suspicious individual. According to reports he was Secretary of Agriculture and Livestock under Videla and the INTA, a research institute associated with Zorreguieta's Ministry was put under control of the Argentine Navy after the Videla-Coup. Employees from this institute disappeared during Zorreguieta's tenure.

    Well! Well!

Easy one-show the Dutch all the historical documents and events that disprove Argentine inheritance from Spain, the legitimacy of Vernet representing the UPs when he sought approval from great Britain for his settlement, proof of GB in the Islands 1765-1774 on the land and subsequent sailings around the Islands from then, the length of time Falklands generations have been on the islands (i.e. each generation is not transported from the UK and taken back to die), all the necessary UN Charter statements etc etc etc, and refuse to discuss anything with the Dutch until they have visited and talked to the Islanders on the Falklands, then ask them to provide counter evidence from Argentina that can go anywhere close to this, regarding a claim.

??? When did I say I was a lawyer? I have an Honours Degree in Law and a research Masters (MPhil). All that means is that I know how to get to the truth. Now, George - would you be a Salvador in another place? You appear to have the same moronic mindset.

Well, RGs could do with some Dutch courage. The retreat from Mt Longdon and subsequent immediate surrender hasn't been forgotten.

Roger has provided a compilation of history that relates to the Falkland Islands, including the presence of British survey/other ships around the Islands from 1774-1833 which strengthens the British claim.

To counter this and add to your so called claim, to overwhelm the British claim, you have provided what exactly?

Ever heard of the expression, before you criticise the splinter of wood in someone's eye, try removing the plank of wood out of your eyes?
