Dreadful that FIC should ever fall under the control of someone who doesn't reside on British territory or pay personal taxes that go to defend these islands, eh Mr Rowland?

I've seen his bonafides and he seems very fishy to me. Is he part of a plot to secure squid for Europe after Brexit? And was that a real estate company he used to run? Someone should brief the Guv asap.

The Janser family doesn't seem to be a part of God's chosen people but they do seem to believe that they are worth it (Weil die Famile Werte Steht). http://www.janser-holding.ch/HOME.htm

Yes, yes, my point is that it has been removed from public view but, as you suggest, like the dog's poo in a pick-up bag it's still there until it's finally disposed of. Meanwhile, I wonder if “Baz” was a cloud puncher in his earlier career because that would be really useful when the colonists finally work out they need professional advice on air defence capabilities in the coming years.

I'm not sure that a job at HQ Army or even having one's (Scottish) regiment disbanded underneath one while stationed in Northern Ireland (followed by two promotions) constitutes “Folding the flag and returning home”.

Ah, you mean not his last job but the one where he cunningly encouraged a foreign force from the American continent to depart a patch of the British empire it had been foolish enough to deploy its troops into.

At the risk of making an informed comment, so rare on this forum, he wasn't in command. He was embedded.

I'll tell you one last time. Baz was not in command of troops, he was a staff officer. The clue is that he describes himself as a “director”. Trust me on this one.

”He [the US General] and his second-in-command, Brigadier Paul Nanson, MBE, have been in the national capital region for a post-deployment speaking tour, along with Colonel Donilon (sp) and Colonel Bennett (sp), who are here to assist as well today.”
