UK Prime Minister Theresa May has had “constructive” talks with European Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker on the Brexit process, Downing Street said. The Prime Minister hosted Mr Juncker and Brussels’ chief Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier for a working dinner in Number 10 ahead of a summit on Saturday where the leaders of the 27 other EU countries will consider their approach to the talks on the UK’s withdrawal.     These “obligations” that the UK has to the EU that need to be settled, what are they based on?

    I don't get that.

    The EUians and Juncker are excessively pissed off that the UK would like to leave the EU.

    That means they are getting some kind of benefit from the UK already.

    What exactly has the EU done for UK that is over the top of what the UK has done for the EU?

    There must be some net benefit the UK is receiving which they apparently have an obligation to return upon leaving. What is it?
