    Unless the laws governing these territories are changed so that they are no longer internally self-governing they will have the power to make and change laws for Great Britain and Northern Ireland through their MPs while retaining their own internal autonomy.

    If the BOTs got representation in Parliament, would it mean that they could be removed from the “C24” list of the infamous UN Special Committee on Decolonization? After all Greenland, French Guyana and the Netherlands Antilles are not on that list, but all the BOTs are.

    Possibly. They'd have to vote for integration with the UK though, and I doubt any would agree to that.
