United States Embattled Environmental Protection Agency chief Scott Pruitt has resigned after fighting numerous scandals and alleged ethics violations. “The unrelenting attacks on me personally, my family, are unprecedented and have taken a sizable toll on all of us,” Pruitt wrote in his resignation letter to President Donald Trump on Thursday.     That's good news, but it's not clear his deputy will be any better. In both cases it's putting the fox in charge of the hen house.

    The sort of stories that we always made fun of that came out of Argentina under CFK!

    Never thought I would see the day in the US where it would take so long for such a blatantly incompetent and corrupt cabinet-level official to be sacked.
