To the comment “An anemic 38% approval rating is compounded by lows on honesty, strength and intelligence,” should be added ”plus his total disrespect for all who criticize him or who don't agree with his comments/opinions on whatever the issues may be. Usually expressed as FAKE NEWS“. Not exactly representative of ”Democracy” however we may wish to interpret the meaning of this word.

What most of the [supposed to be] Democracies have; is a fake - illusion of - democracy. Pl. let me explain:

If the candidates & political parties receive ”donations“ [which sounds like ”bribes”], if they are influenced by the lobbies which represent multinationals, corporations, foundations, etc. [sounds like MORE bribes]; a TRUE democracy already is in jeopardy!!!
