The question is just how long the vessel operates before experiencing a critical failure during its mission.

The other questions are 1) how long did it take to repair? 2) has the vessel been certified as being in class by Lloyds or whichever other class society that presumably should be involved 3) and most important of all “what was the final cost of the repairs.”

Perhaps the final answer is that they should have scrapped this vessel and purchased another unit, more than likely in far better shape, far more updated and again above all at a lesser cost.

Not forgetting to add the cost of hiring suitable vessels to cover the time the Irisar was out of commission.

As much as your beloved Argentinean Navy comrades in arms would have luuuuuved to steal from this proyect too... it was..., from the beginning been placed under the watchful eyes of “Det Norske Veritas” ... Not easy to fckuck with us Vikings about ships... ;-)
Anyhow... I reckon it must be the green monster of envy that dves a purported navy officer & gentleman to wish misfortune onto other sailors...

    TWIMC...

Re-reading the above ARGIE-SHILEAN comparative table I posted earlier..., it became crystal-clear to me that my Shilean little male brothers deep rooted invodiousness against us male Argies is..., more than understandable...

“Ours” is 10 meters longer..., 4 meters wider..., 40% heavier...and sticks ~2 meters deeper...

SAY NO MORE... It must be hard to be a “little” male brother... ;-)))
