Paraguayan Senate prepares to oust President Lugo on Friday appealing to an impeachment process
The Paraguayan Senate has summoned President Fernando Lugo for Friday midday to commence the political impeachment process which was voted almost unanimously in the Lower House (76 to 1) and will decide on his future.

Paraguay sends the Army to the north of the country to combat guerrilla groups
Paraguay troops begun pouring into two Northern provinces Monday evening where a state of exception was declared to try and combat an outbreak of guerrilla attacks that has killed members of the police forces, kidnapped for ransom and robbed local banks.
