The Falkland Islands branch of the Royal British Legion this week launched the 2018 Poppy Appeal, marking the yearly series of remembrance events in honor of fallen service men and women killed in conflict.

The Falkland Islands have announced the following arrangements for Sunday 8 November 2015, Remembrance Sunday. The Annual Service of Remembrance will be held in Christ Church Cathedral commencing at 9.30 am.
Falkland Islands will be holding the annual Service of Remembrance on Sunday 10 November at Christ Church Cathedral. Governor Neil Haywood, Commander British Forces, Members of the Legislative Assembly, visiting and resident South Atlantic veterans, together with Senior Officers of the Armed Services will be attending the Service.
