    Court says CFK must be tried for corruption and jailed preemptively

    CFK is a Senator and is entitled to parliamentary immunity.

    An Argentine appeals court Thursday upheld the September decision by judge Claudio Bonadio whereby Former President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner (CFK) must stand trial and be preemptively imprisoned throughout the proceedings for having allegedly received millionaire bribes from businessmen in the Kirchnerist governments (2003-2015).

    Menem found not guilty in arms trafficking case

     Former President and current Senator Carlos Menem has parliamentary immunity from arrest.

    A Buenos Aires Federal Court of Appeals Thursday ruled in favour of acquitting former Argentine President Carlos Saúl Menem in the case for arms trafficking to Ecuador and Croatia after 23 years of legal proceedings.
