    After a rigorous inspection of ceremonial uniform, the Royal Gibraltar Regiment proceeded with their First Queen’s Guard at Buckingham Palace on Monday

    The Royal Gibraltar Regiment is conducting Ceremonial Public Duties in London, almost ten years after their second commitment, with their first being in 2002. Following a rigorous inspection of ceremonial uniform and drill sequences which was carried out at Wellington Barracks on Friday, the Royal Gibraltar Regiment proceeded with their First Queen’s Guard which took place at Buckingham Palace on Monday 21 March.

    Gibraltar Regiment officer assists training of Chilean UN force contingent

     All lessons were in Spanish, and Major Cumming (L) had the opportunity to exploit the language capability that the majority of RG personnel possess

    The Royal Gibraltar Regiment recently deployed one of its officers to Santiago in Chile. Major Timothy Cumming deployed from July 12/August 2 to Santiago to assist in the delivery of some critical Pre-Deployment Training (PDT). This training was delivered to members of the Chilean Armed Forces that were going to make up the latest United Nations Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) contingent.
