  The Government of Belize announced in a statement Tuesday that it was suspending diplomatic ties with Israel in rejection of the military actions undertaken in the Gaza Strip following the Oct. 7 attacks by the terrorist organization Hamas.

  Duke and Duchess of Cambridge land in Belize

  

  Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton have landed Saturday evening in Belize, marking the first stop of a Caribbean tour by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who are next to visit Jamaica and The Bahamas.   Taiwan president will attend inauguration of Paraguay's Mario Abdo Benitez

  

  President Tsai Ing-wen will visit two of Taiwan's diplomatic allies, Paraguay and Belize, Aug. 12-20, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Jose Maria Liu said on Monday.
