Argentine president Nestor Kirchner will be leaving Thursday night for London to begin a week long meeting with European leaders in France, Spain and Brussels where he will be meeting EU Executive Committee president Romano Prodi.

In London president Kirchner will be participating in a two day meetings of the Third Way forum, specially invited by Prime Minister Tony Blair. Other Latinamerican participants in the Labour Party sponsored event are Chilean president Socialist Ricardo Lagos and Brazilian president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva from the Workers Party.

On Tuesday the Argentine delegation will be travelling to Brussels to meet with Mr. Prodi at the Executive office of the European Union.

From Belgium president Kirchner flies to Paris to interview French president Jacques Chirac and Prime Minister Jean Pierre Raffarin.

The following day is Madrid where President Kirchner will be meeting King Juan Carlos and Spanish president Jose Aznar.

This will be Mr. Kirchner's first incursion in Europe since he took office last May 25.

The Argentine president must be back by early Friday July 18th since Mr. Kirchner promised relatives and friends of the victims of the terrorist bombing in 1994 of the Jewish Federation building AMIA, in downtown Buenos Aires, he would be present at the anniversary commemoration.

Almost a hundred people were killed and hundreds injured and maimed when a car bomb shattered to rubble the seven floor construction of the Jewish community. Among other things the building kept the most sacred symbols plus immigration records of the Argentine Jewish community.

In spite of the nine years gone by the case remains unsolved tangled in local politics and international intrigue.
