Chilean international Juan Lorca will return to Colo Colo as Vitesse Arnhem can not afford to buy the player for the reported €2 millions (euros) that the Chilean club are asking. Lorca's one year loan deal has expired and although he would like to stay in Holland no other club has indicated their intention to sign him.

Lorca hopes to be selected for Chile's next World Cup qualifying game against Bolivia in June. Speaking soon after PSV clinched the Dutch Eredivisie for the 21st time, Lorca said that he felt that he was improving with every game as he was getting more accustomed to the pace of the game in Holland. Lorca scored two goals during the season but was recently seen more of a playmaker and this was evident on Sunday as he was Vitesse's most dangerous player. Everytime he received the ball he was surrounded by 2-3 PSV players. PSV took 1,2000 fans with them for the short journey from Eindhoven to Arnhem needing just one point to clinch the title ahead of their arch rivals Ajax. With Ronald Koeman having deserted the club in mid-season to take over at Valencia, it was temporary coach Sef Vergoossen who master-minded the unexpected title victory. Not one of 12 football experts, questioned pre-season by the influential magazine 'Voetbal International' picked PSV to retain their title. They were also champions in 2005, 2006, and 2007. However Ajax have most title wins, with a total of 29. Highly respected coach Huub Stevens who has been with Hamburg in Germany, will now take over the reins at PSV as they automatically enter the money spinning Champions League next season. Ajax, NAC Breda, FC Twente & SC Heerenveen enter a 4 team play-off to decide who Holland's second representatives will be. The only goal of the game on Sunday came from former Vitesse player Serbian Danko Lazovic, who was unmarked when receiving the ball from Peruvian Jefferson Farfan, and he had the simple task of steering the ball into the net. Lazovic had another good chance to make it 2-0 but impressive Dutch under-21 international goalkeeper Piet Velthuizen managed to block the ball with his legs. Santi Kolk should have scored for Vitesse but blazed the ball wide after he was set up by Lorca who opened up the PSV defence before passing to the unmarked Kolk. PSV fans partied long into the night in Eindhoven and many took Monday off from work to get over their celebrations. Patrick Watts, MERCOPRESS - Holland.
