Funny how we haven't heard a peep from the loonie right in the United States as to Uribe's plans to perpetuate himself into power for a third term, while they are tripping over themselves on their way to Tegucigalpa to pay homage to the coup plotters for supposedly putting an end to the possibility of re-election in Honduras!

Tim, funny how you keep popping up with the loonie right comments. Uribe has never instigated the addtional elections. The rank and file of Coolombia like the facts that they can make a trip to the mercado without a car bomb going off, or drive to the coast, take a bus to the south now without being kidnapped by the FARC or ELN. Where is the press on the Bofors AT-4's thar Chavez has been delivering to the FARC? It is not Uribe, it is the government in Coolombia that likes stability and enjoys close ties and MFN status with the USA.
