    Uk only try to justify the stealing of this territories and is trying to convince some country to support its false arguments to steal this territories and overseas areas. This country is searching a “good reason” or a “more acceptable reason” to steal these territories and overseas areas. But don´t worry the truth can´t be hidden this territories and overseas areas were stolen and nothing can change that. Why Uk doesn´t try to go to the Artic to steal territories and overseas areas, doing this nonsense actions performed near South America? I think that uk knows that in this case a lot of countries will make claims to uk because the territories and overseas areas can´t be stolen, there aren´t any good reason which can justify this unacceptable behaviour. However, It seems that uk didn´t realized that the pirate time is over . Now, this country is performing these pirate actions, but this country is trying to do that in a “more acceptable way” to try to be accepted by international community. But It is enough to know a little of story to avoid being cheated by UK. I´m sure that this stupid actions are not enough to believe in the UK´s lies.

    @3
    You are misinformed,there was no indigenous population in the Falklands/Malounes .Britain had a settlement in the Falklands long before Argentina existed.1765. We also didnt slaughter the native indians of Patagonia .(that was the other colonialists).
    Call us all the names you like ,it wont change anything.
    The nine or ten generation of Falklanders just want to live in peace,just as they did in 1982.(when the whole of Argentina celebrated the invasion).
    The UN Charter states “ALL people have the right of self determination”.No Exceptions.

    @3 Johnfarrel2050

    Just what drugs are you on? Your ancestors settled land in the New World just like the British, and a dozen other European nations did.

    The Falklanders can trace their ancestors living on the Falklands back to a time before Argentina existed as an independent nation.

    Then when Argentina finally got it's independence what did it do? Went on a massive expansionist programme, starting wars and stealing land from fellow colonists (Chile, Uruguay, Brazil and Paraguay) and murdering the native inhabitants and stealing their land too.

    Argentina criticising the British over colonialism is like Hitler criticising Mother Teresa on her human rights record!

    @3 Your not too bright are you Mr Johnny? This article isn't about oil, Argentine or sovereignty, it is about the protection of a species under threat. Is this how you debate? by making up arguments about an article that has nothing to do with what your arguing about?

    @6 It's no good talking to jf. He's a prick. Like most argies and their supporters, he believes “history” began around 1810. Only God knows how they can accept that history began in 1810 without wondering what happened in the 1809 years before. Or why someone decided to call that year 1810. But it's a definite fact. I think it means that they don't have to remember the civilisations that they wiped out, or that they came from Europe, or that they were probably no-hopers in Europe. Thus explaining why they've made such a cock-up in South America.
