Galtieri allowed to return to house arrest
Former Argentine dictator Leopoldo Galtieri will be released from jail and held under house arrest while a judge investigates if he played any role in the torture and execution of 22 guerrillas in 1980.
Trade deal with U.S. will ruin agriculture sector
Two Chilean lawmakers whose constituents are mostly comprised of rural farmers have warned that a free trade deal with the United States would ruin the country's agriculture sector and endanger more than a million jobs.
Good day for Falklands Shooters
22 year old Gareth Goodwin, in his first ever Commonwealth Games hit a magnificent 103 from a possible of 105, in the First Stage of the Individual Full-Bore competition.
This is the highest ever score recorded by a Falklands shooter in the First Stage, since the Islands entered the Commonwealth Games in 1982. There are two stages remaining in this event.
