The Falklands total of three medals a silver and two bronze, left them in 16th place in the medal table, as the 10th NatWest Island Games closed in the Channel Island of Guernsey.

Chile managed a trade surplus of 1.798,6 billion during the first half of 2003, with exports totalling 10.359 billion and imports 8,561 billion US dollars.

Lula faces first strike

Falklands Veteran dies in drowning tragedy

Tributes have been paid in the United Kingdom and in the Falkland Islands to a hero of the 1982 conflict who has drowned while attempting to rescue his wife and child in a boating tragedy while on holiday in Cyprus.
