    Question for the islanders:
Do you receive any signal from Chilean or Argentinian television?
    Thanks

Just the British forces broadcasting as far as i know, which is a mix between BBC1,2,3 and sports channels.

Unless i am mistaken, then i dont think they do.

Yes, with a large satellite dish of your own one or two do receive Arg/Chilean stations direct, signal usually poor though as Arg stations in particular narurally beam North-South-West - not east out to the sea, and Chile further away. But by the KTV satellite system we get Chilean national evening news and some Arg programmes and even the adverts.

If Argentines want to torture the islanders have them watch Showmath 24/7...They torture the rest of the continent with that program. However I like Luciana Salazar when she appears there once in a while.

The good thing is that, on their TV sets, the Islanders have an “Off” button.
Unfortunately, there's no “Off” button on Argentina - yet.
