Uruguay has the highest per capita consumption of milk in Latin America averaging between 225 and 230 liters. This compares favorably with Argentina’s 220 liters, Brazil’s 110 and Chile’s 100. Read full article

    lol, those prices are a bit off. A litre of milk goes for 70 cents, a liter of Coke......no idea I never buy the garbage, but that sounds like a high estimate. A liter of bottled water is more like 1.00, and them 6 liter bottled waters are only 2.50, the 5 liter is only 2.20.

    I find that milk in Uruguay tastes better than what I drink in British Columbia. In my opinion paying under $1.00 a Litre for such quality milk is a deal. The bottled water that I have bought in Uruguay tastes great too!
