Argentine Acting President Amado Boudou announced on Monday that Cristina Fernández is “stronger than ever” and will resume her activities on Wednesday after her medical leave absence due to a false-positive thyroid cancer surgery last 4 January.

During a political rally in the Buenos Aires province, Boudou said “I’d like to tell you that the President is stronger than ever, that on Wednesday she’ll be back full steam and sends her best wishes to the city of Coronel Suárez”.

The Argentine president is currently resting with her two children Maximo and Florencia at the Chapadmalal official summer residence in the province of Buenos Aires and with a private beach on the South Atlantic.

Although as part of the surgery convalescence President Cristina Fernandez took 20 days leave of office, it is well known that 72 hours after the thyroidectomy she was already giving instructions and rapidly again on every day government affairs.

During the rally Boudou also strongly defended the so called ‘K’ economic inclusive development model and promised “to continue building the next four years”.

“A country with no achievements, no fulfilments is a country with no dreams”, underlined the acting president who then stated that “farming is important, very important, but it’s not enough, we need to bring industry to the camp, to the farms”

Boudou then attacked the ‘monopolies’ and promised whatever their activity “they will always find the government of Cristina Fernandez in the trenches fighting side by side next to the forty million Argentines”.

“We are not concerned with people making money, it makes us happy. But what we are not going to tolerate is that they profit from a monopoly situation which keeps Argentines in a captive market” said Boudou who insisted that “we don’t want an Argentina for a privileged few but an Argentina with equal opportunities for all”.

“This is a model for 40 million people, for those who think like us as well as those who don’t because they are also benefiting from an Argentina that grows and expands sustainedly”, emphasized the acting president.

Boudou was accompanied at the event by Federal Planning minister Julio De Vido; Minister of Industry, Debora Giorgi; the Secretary of the Executive Office Oscar Parrilli; Public Works Secretary Jose Lopez; province of Buenos Aires deputy governor Gabriel Mariotto and the president of the Lower House of Congress Julian Dominguez.

Well, we will soon see if CFK's neck is smooth.

Boudou talks like all the CFK lapdogs: I for one cannot understand this 'fight in the trenches' crap when we all know the trenches are only there because of the money robbing bastards in the 'Government'

All part of the, 'the world is against us and we have to fight' mentality that fits the model of Peronism. Remember, it is every other country that is at fault for any problems in Argentina. Note how all their panic policies are being sold as 'to protect Argentina from the world recession'. Nope, the problems are all of their own making.

    Welcome back,
Time to see what’s been happening whilst you was away,
Perhaps your government screwed it up for you, or perhaps they have done what they were asked to do, but alas you are back, fit and well,
We are all waiting to see what you will now do, have you pushed to far, not enough , more to come ,
Perhaps you may decide to give up your claim, and go quietly, either way, no doubt we will all hear from you soon, your move I believe .
