    So the end of the story is that provided that provided you have “a friend in court - preferably the Supreme Court of Bolivia in this case - you can waive the Constitution of the country and get yourself elected as many times as you wish, despite the wishes of the voters who have chosen to allow Morales to stand for re-election. So much for ”democracy”!!!

    Suppose we can hope he'll lose the election if half the voters didn't want him standing anyway. But there would need to be some other decent candidate available to beat him. It's always disappointing to see how few leaders will give up power voluntarily.

    The 'election' will be rigged.....just like in VZ where, despite Maduro's huge rejection, he won with 99,9 % of the vote...
    DT, yr comment that it's “disappointing to see how few leaders will give up power voluntarily” goes to show what happens to democracy when the people are too ignorant to realize they are being taken for a ride. Common in 3rd world countries.
