The Falkland Islands Government has announced that this year's reception will be taking place on June 5th at Middle Temple Hall, The Honorable Society of the Middle Temple in London. Read full article

@Jo Bloggs. Isn't it a shame that the Falkland Islands Government doesn't offer invitations to the millions and millions of UK citizens that support them. There's no need to actually issue millions of invitations. But, if it takes place every year, what would be wrong with a couple of hundred each year? The FIG could use it to quantify support amongst ordinary British people. And the UK politicians etc, particularly the Foreign Office, could take note as well. Just so long as the Falkland Islands can be assured of British protection for the next thousand years. we can talk about what the Falklands could sell to Britain. Or which British businesses could have branches in the Islands.
