Argentines are the most anxious people in Latinamerica and rank among the most nervous at world level according to an international opinion poll which reveals that eight out of ten residents in Argentina admit to suffering some sort of anxiety.
Insecurity, the economic situation and health are the issues which most trigger Argentines according to the JWT Sonar public opinion poll which was released Friday by Buenos Aires daily Clarin.
The poll reveals that Argentina is ahead in Latinamerica regarding anxiety symptoms, with 80% of interviews admitting they regularly suffer such experience, and followed quite close by Mexico with 78%. Brazilians and Colombians rank third and fourth with 66% and 58%.
At world level Argentina is only behind the most anxious Japanese (90%) followed by Russia, 84% and Saudi Arabia, 82%.
According to experts the increase in anxiety symptoms is closely linked to global changes and uncertainties which current transformations generate.
The poll which for the first time included Argentina was based on 8.000 interviews in twenty different countries.
