'... an increase in soy hoarding in recent years, as farmers pile their beans into the white, oblong silo-bags that have come to dot the Pampas grains belt.'

Google Earth is quite convincing in the way it shows up the thousands of white dots (sacks) across the pampas.
I must admit that I thought they were sacks of white powder dropped from planes, but then there were just too many.
    P.S. This is a joke ... I think.

    Welcome to Vnzla 2:0

This is only the start. Soon the farms will be expropriated.
You only have to look at the massive decline in Vnzlan agri-'business' during the past 15 years to see the sad, sad future for Argentina,
should the 'K' regime survive... Hopefully they (the farmers), are not so stupid to accept such dictats.

The best part is the government has taken to vandalizing privately owned Bolsasilos.

    Vnzla:
    36 million arable hectares.
currently owly 3.5m in viable production,
Expropriation in Action by Populist Socialists.

Yankeeboy, any comment? It sickens me. (is that the right US colloquialism?)

    :-)

I remember when Vnzla was an actual country, maybe not the best.
But so much better than now. Vnnzla has achieved the promised 'equality'. Unfortunately we have achieved the 'equality of the poor'.
    We could have been Norway...
We could have been Saudi Arabia (but like Canada)
    Oh the Shame!
Now we imprison elected Mayors and shoot 14 year-old kids.

    I hate this regime.

(YB: Apologies if I confuse my nationality , I have both English/ Vnzln heritage. I have graduated from UK & Vnzlan Uni,s. Have run businesss in (and between, also), both countries etc etc. yawn, don't have to justify myself.. etc yawn...)
