Caretaker? -Must be first time he has visited there for 18months or so! - even the British Veterans comment on the untidy mess and unkempt shambles with weeds all over the graves.
Vandalism in cemeteries anywhere in the world is an intolerable disgrace, whatever the circumstances and whoever the perpetrators.

I would repudiate such a fact if it had happened in a cemetery where English soldiers were buried. It does not matter to which nation a soldier has belonged and died in action. They deserve respect.

Ask yourselves who profits from this act of vandalism, It's certainly not the islanders as they know that the disgusting country called Argentina will make political capital out of it like they are doing at this precise moment. It's also quite funny that this has happened twice now 2012, now 2017 and both times it coincides with a group of disgusting Argentine individuals that rampage all over the islands who come just to cause trouble and have no respect for any of the islanders. Yes both times that this has happened they have been on the islands. It's about time the FIG grew a pair and made this bunch of Arginine cretins persona non grata.

The most amusing thing on Mercopress is Thinks efforts at coloquial English. Manages to make himself sound like a second rate version of Arthur Daley, but not quite making it. Perhaps the Argentinian equivalent is a horsemeat salesman? The giveaway is that you know you can never trust anything he says and if you swallow it whole you are sure to end up disappointed.
