A United States company is offering tourist packages in Argentina that combine plastic surgery with leisure activities such as a seven-day excursion that includes silicone breast implants and tango, reported the Buenos Aires press last Sunday.

Plenitas Health & Leisure, a company founded in 2003 and with headquarters in Miami and Buenos Aires has discovered a way to take advantage of the Argentine peso's devaluation, along with the good training and human touch Argentine doctors are known for.

According to Página 12, a big lure for these packages is granting people "protection from nosy-parkers" while they undergo touchups aimed at improving their looks and even curing their addictions.

The company's most popular package offers seven days in Buenos Aires along with a silicone breast implant and private Spanish and tango lessons.

Without going into details, Sunday's edition of Pagina/12 mentions one package deal that combines angioplasty, a procedure to unblock arteries, with a tour of the Patagonian mountains and national parks in the Bariloche area. Another offer is a nose job with a stroll through the streets of Buenos Aires.

The service at both the clinic and the tourist path is top-notch, on a par with that found in the United States, a Plenitas Health & Leisure brochure boasts.

Tourist-patients receive personal attention from bilingual staff, consultation with a doctor before embarking, follow-up visits with their surgeons, and time for post-op recovery and all standard air travel, ground transportation and lodging.
