A seven year old child from Santiago won the equivalent of 200.000 US dollars in the Chilean Kino (lottery).

The child was given the lucky number by a friendly neighbour who was fond of the family.

The boy stuck the Kino tickets to his homework book and while in school realized he had the lucky numbers.

The father of the child is a crane operator and his mother a street vendor, who have difficulties in making ends meet.

According to the Chilean press, the boy decided to share the prize with the man who bought the Kino tickets and a neighbouring family that usually helps the child's parents in hard times.

The boy and his parents were scheduled to collect the money Monday evening.
