New British Ambassador in Uruguay.

Dr Hugh Salvesen has been appointed Her Majesty's Ambassador to The Oriental Republic of Uruguay in succession to Mr John Everard who will be transferring to another Diplomatic Service appointment.

Dr Salvesen will take up his appointment in May 2005.
