Chilean delegation to London Food Exhibit.

A numerous delegation of Chilean businessmen will be present at the coming International Food Fair scheduled in London March 13/16.

The fair is considered one of the main events of the world food industry and attracts exhibitors and buyers from the largest supermarkets and restaurant chains in the European Union.

An estimated 1,350 exhibitors from 43 different countries will be present at the fair which on this occasion will be an even greater event since the three giants, IFE, FOODEX and MEATEX will be joining efforts and display in London.

Chilean businessmen will have support from Euro-Chile, an organization which promotes business between Chile and EU. One of the main issues in this year's edition will be "food safety" which will address European legislation, international ordinances and food industry innovations.

"IFE is one of the most important food fairs and attracts buyers from Britain and the continent. It's an excellent opportunity to learn about the British market and the most effective way to promote Chilean food products in the UK", indicated Marisol Ceballos from the Euro-Chile Business Corporation.

The London IFE show will have displays of meats, fish, beverage, bakery and cakes, cheese and dairy products, processed food, tea, coffee, frozen goods, ice creams, exotic foods plus furniture, cutlery, hotel and restaurant equipment, catering, packing, etc.
