Argentina has been voted the world's fifth top nation of moaners in a new survey by NOP World. Nearly a quarter of people questioned admitted having complained about something in the previous 12 months, Asian News International reported.
Argentina shares fifth place with the US and Brazil. Sweden is the top whiner with 41%, followed by Britain, where more than a third are likely to carp about a company or organization.
Australia and Canada were third and fourth respectively with 30% and 26 of moaners.
The survey of 30,000 people, carried out across 30 countries in five continents, also tracked willingness to complain against personal values, culture and class, and found that the wealthiest and better educated respondents tended to be the most likely to speak out if they were unhappy with an organization.
People in Taiwan were least likely to complain, with just one percent admitting they had spoken out in the last year. They were followed by Saudi Arabia (3%), China (4%), Poland (5%) and Russia (6%).
