At 10.10 am detachments from the Royal Navy, Army, Royal Air Force and the Falkland Islands Defence Force led by the Band of the Prince of Wales Division will form up on Ross Road. They will be joined by Veterans and Associations and begin their march to the Cross of Sacrifice at 10:30 am. HE the Governor Alan Huckle, the Minister for Veterans MP Derek Twigg and Commander British Forces Brigadier Nick Davies will be in position on a dais on the west side of "B" slip to receive an "eyes left" and appropriate salutes will be given. At 10.48 am His Excellency the Governor, the Minister for Veterans and CBF will arrive at the Cross of Sacrifice. A short non-denominational service will then be held and the Roll of Honour read out by Councillor Rendell. There will be two minutes silence at 11:00 am marked by the firing of the saluting guns on Victory Green. Weather permitting this will be followed by a flypast. The wreath laying will follow and be led by HE the Governor. Gilbert House considers it appropriate for medals to be worn on the occasion
