This is all thanks to massive investments in agronomy and scientific research by the Brazilian government in its agricultural research organization EMBRAPA. Scientists and agronomers from all over the world come to Brazil to study at EMBRAPA, the pH soil experiments in EMBRAPA have made the cultivation of different crops throughout the national territory possble. Without research and development a nation cannot help to move forward. Brazilian governments have also been mildly successful at staving off the terrorist attacks of the MST (landless workers movement) which greatly threaten production, exports, and jobs.
