Black population becomes the majority in Brazil
Brazil and its almost 200 million population is no longer a country of white majority. The credit now belongs to the 49.6% black or mulatto population compared to the 49.4% defined as white and this is set to increase in coming years with that percentage increasing to 54, according to a recent report from the Rio do Janeiro Federal University. They have always been the majority but the system of racism has tried to keep that from the rest of the world. Most people of color (mixed race) wanted to identify with the “majority”. Its the same with Cubans and Puerto Ricans.

BRAZIL got 50% of the africans!!!! brazilians are more black than black Americans! Doctors from West Africa still make voyages to Brazil to get old healing remedies that were brought with them in the “trade”!

That was ignorant Jen247, I agree with you. That is true of what you are saying about the Brazilians; I am of Dominican/African/Caucasian/Native American descent. So what happened in Brazil, it also happened in the Caribbean.

Why is it that every other race all ways have someting to say about the black race like they are so perfect...... and to the comment above about blacks marring out side the race in order for them to do that the women in the other race have to like black men so it sounds like you have a problem with your women wanting black men so if all black men or women marry out side the race its good for us because you know the baby is going to look more black and thats your problem... Its also funny to me that everybody seems to be an expert on black history but when you ask them about their history they dont know weird isnt it.....

Like dominicans you can find a dominican as dark as the night and he will tell you that he is not of african decent but all negro latinos are like that.... Like the comment above when 9 intresting says she is mixed with all those different ethnic groups evrybody in the western world is mixed. Negro latinos are are really funny to me but if you notice the latin world dosent accept them just look at the spanish televison stations........ Its not jus the dominicans but ALL NEGRO LATINOS BE HAPPY WITH HOW GOD MADE YOU.... just think if African Americans, Negro latinos, Hatians, Jamacans, Africans (all of the africans) get to gether it would be so beautiful..and that's why they keep Negro Latinos ignorant to the real history of the natives and the africans so that the small white can stay in charge...... Saying that whites are an ethnic minority in Brazil is in fact, a fact. Black majority therefore, are discriminating against white minority with university quotas.

Its so sad that some dont want to realize that the majority of earth's human population IS BLACK!! Get a grip on reality and accept it fools!! It actually became feasible to supply colonial America, Cuba, and the Caribbean with slaves from Brazil. The Afro-Brazilian population dwarfs the African-American population today.

These caste systems known as the Casta and it ranked races and ethnicities as followed:
Casta
Spaniards born on the European continent: Peninsulares
Spaniards born on New World soil: Criollos
Native Americans
People with a mix of Indian and Spanish ancestry: Mestizos, Castizos, Cholos,
People with a mix of Spanish and African ancestry: Mulattos
People with a mix of Indian and African ancestry: Zambos
Africans
The remnants of the Casta still linger on today. African heritage is looked upon disapprovingly. Observe television on Latin American networks. Look at the mannerisms and behaviors of Black Latinos It has been reported that underground para-military, black ops Brazilians government organizations are responsible for the undocumented deaths of hundreds of thousands of Black and mixed ancestry orphans that wander slums.
The maltreatment of Afro-Brazilians will soon diminish. The legacy of the African-American civil rights movement and Obama's presidency have inspired these people to demand and protest for fair treatment. The Afro-Brazilian civil rights movement is nearing

to optimist and other intelligent minds preach on. I want to add to the conversation by pointing out that all people are Africans. The Black woman can bare a child of all colors regardless of the Black father. Two dark people can make an albino child. They are all over Africa. The ancient scientists breeded albinos together for many years until it was enough for their own race. When they were too troublesome with lying and stealing (something that wasn't done during those times but taught to them as an experiment) they were escorted across the deserts of what is now the middle east into europe, up into the caves of the Caucus Mountains (hence the title Caucasian) for hundreds of years until Moses brought them out. They had fine hair, light colored eyes and alabaster skin all because they were in the cold climate for so long. The redness of the albino skin subsided. Unfortunately for the whole planet, they were plagues with diseases that wiped out the heavily populated Black Moores who lived all over Europe, in addition, all the orginal Egyptians of African descent, South African and American Indians to name a few. Do some research, find out why the Pope himself has to pray to the Black Madonna and child statue in Poland. Look into the history of the ancient architecture in places like Prague. People who thought the world was flat could have never built such structures that were based on science and astrology such as the Moores education. There is so much to this history. I think white Americans would have accepted this truth the way foreign whites do if society hasn't lied to them for so long giving them a false sense of superiority. Everywhere was black. China used to be called Indochina as well as indonisia and India all mean black in translation. Buddah himself was a blue-black fat man with slanted eyes. Peace to all.

Meaning, Brazilians have stronger roots and ties to West Africa. Brazilians still today hold more West African Traditions that we do here. thats what my comment was about.
Slaves sent to America, were first seasoned in the Caribbeans. America very seldomly bought slaves that were straight from africa. They bought younger people that were born into slavery. So slavery was all that they knew.
I wasnt speaking about race wise, nor DNA relations. Just Traditions and roots.
but i feel you on the mixing part. . . There were alot of slaves that escaped to Mexico, so Im sure mixed themselves there as well. . . Africans sailed with Cortez around the world, and for 700 years Africans Lived in Spain. So if someone tells you their Spanish . . Theire roots have African in them . . .
