Hey Evo, the winds of political change blow both ways. You tried to use your natual gas a weapon with Brazil and Bolivias refusal to sell to Chile, and Argentinas hunger for it should put your corrupt little country in good stead. But there you go opening your pie hole and socio-commie drivel comes out. Why not pick a fight with Peru while you are at it?

    Evo:

I have to agree with Bubba. You have no business commenting about radical shifts in government in South America. As a supporter of communism, YOU represent a radical shift in government to the detriment of the region.

Before you begin labeling governments that disagree with your corrupt philosopy as “fascist”, you should take a basic course in Political Science. Of course, you will first have to finish the fourth grade.

    Oh yes, Morales is terrible.

Imagine putting the country's assets in the hands of the people instead of foreign mega-corporations that don't give a sh_t about them.

    Shame on him.

Agreed Conscience. Evo doesn't need a lesson in political science, Bubba and
Charles need one in Latin American history.

How long have either Conscience or Mike lived in Bolivia? I lived there for 5 years. Morales has the opportunity to do something good with his country and his people. However, his choice of cabinet ministers and his paranoid ranting, like his brother Chavez only makes me laugh.. With five years under his belt, and revenue from all the nationalized industries, what does he have to show for it? And I strongly disagree with you both, he does need some brushing up on poly-sci, and his history too. He could be the Chileans strongest partner in trade, and maybe learn something from them. But instead of selling energy to them, he spites his country over a war they lost 200 years ago..

I agree with Mike and Conscience... and Bubba, I am not surprised by your comments... your point of view is quite clear, you sound like a Darwinist Capitalist, where the poor majority at the bottom exist only to support the few up top.

And since you lived in Bolivia you should know better, but I seriously doubt that you saw the indigenous peoples' perspective... you probably just saw how the european minority is loosing its desproportionate power and that is scaring the crap out of you.

Bubba is just jugging from his own position of priviledge...

Mike and Conscience, the problems with your post is that you ignored what they say, and went straight to insulting their lack of education. Just because you disagree with them (and me), doesn't call for making unsupported assumptions to make yourself look better in comparison.

Gabriel, the problems with your entire post is that you just ignored some logical points from Bubba. Instead, all you did was classify him as a Darwinist Captialist (?), which isn't even a real term. Also, you made some pretty big assumption and ignored his points. What was the point of that? That isn't an intelligent response to anything, and I'm getting fed up with the malicious comments that keep getting posted here. Oh well, you'll probably just call this post malicious too.

Indeed, Evo can do better things to improve his image. First thing he should do, is to not say the center right of Chile and Argentina, and call them essentially supports of violent dictators. Some might see that as paranoia. Another thing he should do, is to not peeve off one of Latin America's most stable country, and instead try to work with them for the improvement of his country, instead of crying over the results of a 200 year old war.

Osorno, you get fed up easily, chill out. Yes, I might have used some sarcasm in my comment but it was certainly not an attack nor it was malicious... I did not ridiculed, insult, nor did I call Bubba's posts unintelligent like you did to mine...

but you really felt like your friend was being attacked just because I dissented from his opinion...

BTW: if you don't know or never heard the term Darwinism Capitalism, then Google it, or figure it out by using deductive logic...

    Evito's statements are laughable.

Bubba, if I were you I wouldn't be concerned with those populists....they should be invited to perform at Jay Leno's shows as comedy actors....they are truly unfit for what they are today.....

Here in Brazil we have a certain bearded clown who only makes jokes with everything, loves getting high with brandies, says that whoever studies foreign languages is foolish and snobish, thinks that a few money to make some poors stay at home is the answer for my country's problems and so on.

South America doesn't deserve leaders like that.
