Defence minister Nelson Jobim said that Brazil “is not a Venezuela that goes around shopping in the world’s arms supermarkets”. Brazil targets policy on technical training and technology transfer so “we can develop a sound, autonomous defence industry”, underlined the top official from President Lula da Silva administration.     Well Mr. Jobin, Venezuela is also requesting technology transfer in many sectors including military, however, due to the situation created by the USA and Colombia there is no time to waste. We need those rockets in place ASAP. After we have a solid defense system in place then we hope technology transfer could be attained.

    By the way, I hope that the technology transfer Brazil is getting will allow the sell without veto like those imposed on you by the USA and the Super Tucano planes they prohibited you to sell to Venezuela.
