Uruguay officially opened this week the country’s new Carrasco international air terminal with a capacity to manage 3 million passengers annually, which makes it operational until 2030. Read full article

    such a nice new airport, but, oh dear! not even one direct flight to the U.S.A. and only one to Europe( do 3 million people want to travel to Bs.As ?).Is this what happens when the national air transport system is taken out of the hands of the country of operation?and long distance travel totally controlled by foreign interests?Uruguay needs a national airline with Real aircraft.
