Colombia/Ecuador re-establish trade relations after 21 months

Ecuador and Colombia formally established this week ties at trade representation level, official sources said in Quito and Bogotá. The two governments announced that “full normalization” will take place when the so called “sensitive” issues have been addressed and solved. Read full article

    Well, diplomatic relations were interrupted, but trade existed during the same period of time, the fact is that Colombia began to supply with electricity to Ecuador just two weeks ago, while food and general merchandise and gasoline have been in normal operations prior and after March 2008.

    Errors are part of our routine operations, but world leaders should posses more wisdom that an average individual, therefore, it is expected that they should implement better peaceful ways to solve their country problems.

    Congratulations to Colombia and Ecuador.
