Cuban and US cultural institutions plan to keep working together to preserve the documents that belonged to Ernest Hemingway and are kept at Finca Vigia, the US writer’s home-turned-museum on the island, state media reported. Read full article

    As a resident of Kansas City, where Mr. Hemingway became a great writer with the “Kansas City Star,” I am exuberant to see the US government putting truly petty issues aside and saving important historical artifacts of one of the greatest writers the world has known. Hopefully this will lead to normalization of relations with a valiant country, that being Cuba.
