Ha,ha, ha how cynics the UK’s politicians are.

Just for fun to prove my point lets write a letter to the Pomy politician saying that “we the Falkland Islanders want to become part of Argentina” you will see what would be the response.

“EU position that the Falkland Islands is an overseas territory of the United Kingdom”

Another stupidity from Mr. Photo opportunity MP, if he sustains that Malvinas is an overseas territory automatically his is recognizing that the disputes is with UK. Leaving the Islanders just as people without any determination. Because is a territory of UK and UK is in the North Sea and the islands are 14,000 km away.

So Jeremy is UK’s territory or the Islander’s territory? I don’t get it.

Another clown that saw the opportunity to appear in the newspaper for free.

Well done and this is the people that will save UK from the collapse?

Umm, sad very sad indeed fellows.

Your future will be very, very gloomy and full of woes especially if you mess with Argentina.

@NicoDin. You really are a dummy, aren't you? The Falkland Islands are an Overseas Territory of the United Kingdom with its own government. The United Kingdom retains “responsibility” for foreign affairs and defence. Note that the Falkland Islands Government is fully in agreement with Mr Browne's statement.
But you don't get it. I'm not surprised. It takes at least 2 brain cells to recognise the obvious.
Mess with Argentina? That was a joke, right? On the available evidence, you are just immigrants who have never been anything worthwhile, aren't anything worthwhile now and are unlikely to ever be anything worthwhile. Try to remember that, last time round, we gave you a gentle smack to remind you not to mess with the big boys. Next time, I'd recommend direct action against the belligerent. That means missile strikes on Argentine military, economic and industrial locations. Fancy 64 Tomahawk cruise missiles, do you?

I see Mr Browne is a LibDem interesting proves without a doubt that Self-determination is a universally held principal by all parties in the UK.

Ivo seems to have rescinded on his earlier madness of referring to everyone and everything as J.A Roberts the one who stole his little wet dream from him, and now seems to be avidly trawling through the wikipedia massacre articles like a beaver on caffine.

And nicotine in a rare break with tradition has managed to scrape together an opinion that doesn't involve him using Youtube ...

Nicotine I seem to remember the results of the last time we “Messed” with Argentina, you came second best No?

GDR I take it you refer to the USS Lexington inccident? Seemingly the US reckoned you lot were the pirates, luckily naval archives are avaliable which many Malvinista's are unaware of or blantaly ignore and pursue fanciful conspiracy claims: http://www.ussduncan.org/silas_page13.htm...

I wouldn't have thought that they'd use tomahawks, we only bought 120 or so...
Especially when some of the RAF's 900 or so Storm Shadow ASMs are almost certainly at Mount Pleasant, not that it'll ever come to that. Admittedly they're only medium range (i.e. the “official” range is 1000km or less) but they're air launched and they fit on both Tornadoes and Typhoons, they're slightly faster and the warhead is just as big.

    @ivo.
Excellent list of incidents. Leaving aside the relevance of incidents in Australia to current discussions, could you take the trouble to provide a similar list of Italian, Spanish, Argentine massacres of indigenous peoples in South America? Or do I have to go to the trouble of describing the sort of murderous, land-grabbing bastards you are?

8 agent0060 (#). On the available evidence, the British are also just immigrants*. So are those of their formes colonies, say fatty Americans who, in recent statististics, it was shown that some 45% have Germanic blood in their veins.
Immigrant traits, especially those of 'bad blood', are clearly visible when one receives abuse from them. They don't understand what education is for, despite being well raised.

*Mostly Picts, Jutes, Kelts, Jews, Romans, Italians, Normans, French. And in the Victorian Era, people from all colonies in all continents. A current Polish invasion is filling in all school seats with children who do not speak a word of English. So much for the EU!

Well It didn't take long for this post to descend into insanity?

I am sure your just calling him a clown Jorge because you disagree with his line of argument, being the son of a diplomat and speaking Spanish fluently and from a left of centre Liberal Party I frankly couldn't see anyone more suited for the job than himself, could you do a better job Jorge?

GDR i see you display a certain ignorance of the role of the govenor general in Australia and New Zealand, yet me be very polite and explain briefly he is the representative of the head of state, being as those respective wonderful countries have the same nostalgic love of the monarchy as we do, being as the old dear cannot be in two places at once she of course has to send a representative, like the monarch no real power just a figurehead occasionally inspects troops and conveys HM's messages to her subjects.

But I don't see what all this Aussie bashing is about? From what I can tell Australia and Argentina are extremely similar, both are majority immigrant European descended nations, mainly concentrated in coastal cities, large ranches and farms grace the interiors, the culture to put it politely is bastardized from the former colonial power, they have a history of beating their former colonial ancestors at their own sport and both have long term indigenous inhabitants who were treated none to well and forced to the fringes of society, by both the colonials and their descendants.

IVo I would say the latter is the more valuable since it were the British nation is located and thus all the money and wealth is, hardly an island obsession, especially when Australia is classified as a continent, but one could say somewhat the same about Argentina and the Falklands?

Perhaps we can all sit down and sing Kumbuya and hold hands before our collective IQ's are reduced into single digit numbers?

Comments must be in English, but nothing is mentioned about the use of pidgin or creole English or even rhyming... so be it ;-D

”Australia, New Zealand are kinds of “Autonomous Zones” for UK !
not independent countries ! ( they still have UK governors !)“

Australia and New Zealand do not have UK governors. The Governor-General of Australia is Australian and is nominated by the Australian Prime Minister and appointed by the Queen of Australia, and the Governor-General of New Zealand is a New Zealander and is nominated by the New Zealand Prime Minister and appointed by the Queen of New Zealand. The UK government has nothing to do with it.

”well ... US' s each States are more independent than
    Australia and New Zealand !
at least, they elect their own Governors but,
Australia, New Zealand, Scotland, Wales.N.Ireland can not ....”

Ivo, there is a difference between a governor who is the head of government of a subdivision of a country and a governor who acts as a stand in for a monarch in a constitutional monarchy. The role of a governor in these cases is that of a head of state, not head of government.

I think it shows just how deluded some Argentinians are when they still think Australia and New Zealand is still under British control.

The Argentine president asked the queen on TV to give the islands back. If the leader of your nation doesn't even realize that the UK is a democracy and the queen is merely a figurehead(as the same with Austrailia, New Zealand , Canada, and plenty more) Then how can you expect any other nation to take you seriously?

No it's not..We have a lot of debt, fact. But our economy is strong enough to get through that, another fact.

London is the worlds finance capital(took over from new york), and the united kingdom still remains one of the top five economy's in the world(London is one of three economic hubs in the world, the others being New York and an Asian city, i think Shanghai).

The united states has the largest amount of debt, but they also have the economy to pull through it.

A debt like this would destroy other country's, yes. But but the UK will pull through, WW1 and WW2 are proofs of this.

We have to accept that Galtieri- and Kirchner-indoctrinated dagos will never accept the truth. But then we can see parallels with the Cheka, the NKVD, the GPU, the MVD, the KGB, the Soviet Union, the Nazi party, the SS, the Hitlerjugend, the Stasi, North Korea, the Peoples Republic of China and so on.
Unfortunately, these things take time to change. Maybe, in Argentina, they still have the Inquisition.
