Syrian president Bashar al-Assad wrapping up his Latinamerican tour of four countries, Cuba, Venezuela, Brazil and Argentina described the government of US President Barack Obama as ‘weak’ to ensure a peace process in the Middle East adding he was hopeful of negotiations sponsored by other countries such as Brazil and Turkey.     Is this guy for real? Syria isn't in any South, except perhaps the South of the North. It may be a little south of Spain, but it isn't south of the United States.
    And Turkey wants to join Europe, not some Syrian Arab alliance.
    A case of telling the deluded what they want to hear.
