Being leftist or rightist sometimes is very paradoxical: if you were isolated against a totalitarian regime...resistance is ok, but...a few years later you stop seeing the likeness.

I like Vassili Grossman´s books for his consistency for detecting the poison that actives that paradox and, at the same time, can keep the core beliefs.
