Rio Tinto Alcan presented the Paraguayan government a project for the construction of an industrial park which is to complement the aluminium plant it is planning to start in the land-locked Mercosur member country. Read full article

Very good for Paraguay! I don't know if it's possible but they could use Parana River in order to export the product.

I would like to see this completed; Paraguay could use some more industry. About shipping down the Parana, there could be future problems if Chavez and CFK have their way. Did you know that they have been trying to jointly take over shipping on the Parana?
