Argentina and Club of Paris creditors agree to discussions with no IMF auditing
The Paris Club of creditor nations accepted Argentina’s request to hold talks on restructuring its estimated 6.7 billion US dollar of debt without the oversight of the International Monetary Fund, announced on Monday President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner. Read full article

Hopefully, spending some reserves on debt retirement will slow growth and inflation somewhat. The government might slow some of its domestic spending that is fueling the rapid growth. Should a settlement of the 6.7 billion ensue, the resultant effect on international credit markets will provide the optimum environment for sustained, long-term growth.

Both Nestor and Cristina seem to have understood and manipulated the workings of international finance even better than the banks and rating agencies. Raising the country out of the financial and economic quagmire of 2001 is no mean feat.
As for the Kirchners' involvement in all those casinos in Argentina: Wellington said that Waterloo was won on the playing fields of Eton.

... the Paris Club creditors may well be eager to collect their money before the April deadline when Argentina runs afoul of Article IV (IMF monitoring) and possibly changes its mind about payment, preferring the cash to obliging Argentina to follow the rules. Buenos Aires Herald

Since Argentina is insignificant there is not much international news available so I am stuck with BA Herald and Momento 24 which I think uses google translate because seems like it is written by you or xbox.

Anyway you can read pagina 12 too, that's a very good newspaper that supports the government, if i suggest you to read unless one newspaper that supports the government, that's because all the newspapers and chanels tell only what is covenient to their economc and politic interests, in my case, i already told you that i read, la prensa (conserveness, liberal, and oponent to the government), and read also pagina 12 (leftist and supporter of the government.
If you inform your self only with those newspapers that have the same ideology, your information will keep on being as oblique as it now.

I think a few years ago everyone was taking about how well Venezuela was doing, how are they doing now? Let's see, you have Soy they have Oil. 1 commodity doesn't make a well balanced economy. Brazil's currency is going to mess you up a lot in the next year so I wouldn't count on them buying too many more cars.
I have been predicting this will all come to a crashing halt sometime after the next election. We don't have too much time now let's see who is right in the next 12-18 mos.
