VESSELS fishing for the squid species Illex argentinus in Falklands waters have been reporting poor catches of around two and five ton per day so far this season, confirmed Falkland Islands Fisheries Scientist Alexander Arkhipkin. Read full article
Illex argentinus in Falklands See? Then you actually are taking what is ours, in this case the Illex argentinus. This is what British understand by TRADE. We want our islands back, Las Malvinas fueron, son y serán Argentinas, no matter what!
Nope, ExBrain, they're taking what is theirs ....... if you can prove that you own any islands in our possession I'm sure we'll happily give them back.
So why not show some courage and take your case to the ICJ? Or are you too cowardly to let a tribunal decide ??
Calm down, why are you so nervous and angry? You just keep replying to my comments haha, you are too stupid or you really have problems. Do you have a wife or a woman to do things with her? Go to bed with her, what are you doing here? Believe me, that will be the cure for you :)
It's mid morning here, Brainless person .... I have a nice coffee and enjoy watching your madness. Makes me laugh, an example of prime Argentine manhood .... or boyhood more likely ..... do you actually know what a woman is? Somehow I doubt you've experienced one :-)
after this weeks news of the English economic collapse(Daily Telegraph)the huge leap forward in Argentina-Chile relations(laprensa.com.ar)and now news of Brasils new president huge ambitions fopr Brasil-Argentina partnership(any Brasilian/Argentine paper you like)it appears you better drink any beer you can get even with industria Argentina on it.Actually there might be an Industria Argentina beer from Puerto Argentino quite soon
you have as much chance of finding your islands as Cato did finding the
missing Atlantis , but if you do find them , please report to the British Falkland islands and we will make a note of it, thank you ?
the right lane?.....we already drive in the right lane pal (the CORRECT lane that is)
Ah yes....thanks for the advice O Gara, however I regretted that purchase, I much prefer Belgium or Austrian lager to any of that yank licencenced piss brewed in Argentina, English bitter comes a close second to those good European brews mind, that vile black vomit called Guinness is nowhere I'm afraid (no offence paddy, har har).
Actually there might be an “Industria Argentina” beer from Puerto Argentino quite soon
the notion of compareing the pale ale piss drunk in England with Guiness amigo suggests you wouldn't know beer from lemonade if your eyes were closed. But the main point I am makeing is the situation of the so called falklanders is getting more and more desperate.Englands economy is every day in a worse state,Argentinas relations with Chile,Brasil and Uruguay are ever better.Soon you will face 100% isolation with a bankrupt mother and Argentina ever richer. If I was in your shoes I would be encourageing mother to talk very nicely to your neiggbour or get ready to return home or best of all Aprender Espanol
C'mon O Gara, you purport to be an Irishman, so you know full well how disenpowered people respond to a domineering, powerful neighbour. It'll be a cold day in hell when we go cap in hand to the Argies.
Mind you I'm not so sure you're Irish at all, an Irisman would know that Guinness is not beer, it's stout......and you spelt it incorrectly too....a bit suspicious begorrah!
The English economic collapse? would that be the collapse that isn't happening, or the collapse you would would like to see happen plastic Argie Paddy?
0.5% contraction due to bad weather is not a economic collapse nugget! we are quite safely away from a 90's style Argentina economic collapse :) but do continue its quite funny watching your posts, even if none of them are remotely endowned with anything factual except your evident fantasies relating to mysterious non-existent economic collapses and the seeming inability of the Falklanders suddenly not being able to continue operating without Latin America support like they have done for the last 180 years.
Now what do you kid says now...oh yeah double LOL! continue the good work plastic paddy ;)
westisbest.
I don't deny for a minute the heavyhanded savagry of the Military regieme which terrorised its own people as much as anyone.Just as brutish as Mubaraks savages are now.But as someone who regularlty visits Argentina I see a vibrant 28 year old democracy a wonderful hard working dynamic young country with vast possibilities which are happening right now.
As for the Guinness I spell lots of words wrong as my texting isn't great but if you look at the bottles you will see what the old guys call it PORTER.Anyway enjoy one and go and visit Argentina and see what a fabulous place it is. If you won't like the Quilmes or Isenbeck the Malbecs and Torrontes are great.
I am not for one minute. defending Irelands disastrous economic situation destroyed by greed and corruption. What I am doing is giving my view of what will happen in the Falklands/Malvinas situation
stout and porter would you prefer Murphys,Beamish or maybe even a pint of plain your only man.On the other hand I find Argentines to be lovely people friendly to a fault and the younger generation open to all which isn't noticeable round here.Slainte
What a bunch of spoiled brats want is irrelevant, Malvinas belong to Argentina.
What about the Illex argentinus, don't they have a say? Even the Brits call them by their real name, that's a total admission of sovereignty if I ever saw one. ;-)
There seems to be a lot of expectation from the Argentine posters. I assume they are just waiting for a day in the near future when either the Islanders (probably not as they have no Human Rights according to Argentina) or Britain to announce, alright Argentina you have won the battle, there you go take the Falklands.
It really is not going to happen. No matter what you do, no matter what state the British economy is in (and it really isn't close to collapse because there is a huge difference between the Argentine economy and the British economy, e.g. transparency, democracy, sound economic policy etc etc) and no matter what pressure Argentina puts on its neighbours and the Falklands, we will remain British. You just strengthen our resolve and determination to choose our own future. In conclusion in case you do not understand these words, we will not bow down to your aggressive and imperialist actions. But continue to sound your rhetoric, I just love to see the desperation in your words!
Still got a carrier, thanks. Also lots of submarines. Just waiting off your coast. Also large numbers of Storm Shadow cruise missiles. All aimed at YUHU!

And returned close to motherland, ha ha
You can try with an IMF chart to see if you can convince them, but I personally believe that you will get not luck at all mate.

Now because the specific name of some squid starts with argent that somehow means the Falklands must belong to Argentina.
