The values of the Liberation Theology remain valid but the task of decoupling the option for the poor from ideological influences remains incomplete, said Brazilian Archbishop Joao Braz de Aviz of Brasilia, head of the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life. Then Marx must have plagarized Christ's ideology, as Jesus preached in favour of the poor and against the abuses of the rich. Less talk about ideology and more ideas that are effective to erradicate poverty, famine and plagues in this very unjust world.
