Union of South American Nations Foreign Affairs ministers meet Friday in Quito to formally launch the group’s treaty and charter and begin discussions on a successor for deceased former Argentine president Nestor Kirchner who was the first Secretary General of Unasur. Read full article

Time to push for amerindian rights and Venezuelan sovereignity over that bit of South America I reckon....

Like many in Guyana and Suriname, Jagdeo is of South Asian descent. Moreover, the country he represents already is a sovereign nation.
