  At least as bad as the USA failure to 'bring meat to the table' in his South American tour, is the 'rose-tinted spectacle' approach he adopted to life on the ground in S.A.. His reference to the Inter-American Democratic Charter was merely a lip-service aside. Obviously this man did not want to 'rock the boat', but in adopting this position he showed himself to be a man of straw.
  
  Let's hope that he appoints a real 'big-gun' from his Cabinet to manage South American affairs, with walk-in access to the President - someone who makes it his/her life's work to bring REAL inter-american developments that tie an unbreakable bond through mutual trade and development.
  
  Otherwise, South America will fall into the Chinese sphere of influence and will be sucked dry and left for dead when all goodness in the continent has been transported to Asia.

  Well his weakness in the spoken word on south America, opens up the full weakness of the united states, his attitude over Europe was no less enthusiastic, his lack of interest over the Libyan affair even less,
  i think this man was born in the wrong time band,
  to weak- to slow- strong words that fall flat- America is and has lost a lot of Respect since he became precedence, the way he treats the uk. made him a hero of the Americas, and the laughing stock of the rest of the world, still he will go soon, then perhaps they will elect a real person that not only shows respect to their friends, but the rod to their enemies,
