Mar 29th, 2011 - 12:13 pm - Link - Report abuse 0only joking , but why not convert it to a Inter national rescew ship
fully equipped, then when there is a disaster, tsunami-tidal wave-ect ect, she could be very handy bringing food-medical aid-relief- supplies- rescue equipment, with a couple of helicopters, this could well be used
for the benefit of others ??

Mar 29th, 2011 - 12:29 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Thats a really good idea Briton, I sure would not mind seeing such a fine ship being put to good use.
5 briton:
Mar 29th, 2011 - 12:46 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Brilliant idea but what charity/humanitarian organisation could afford to run such a ship for the odd occasion that it happens?
Personally i think keeping this in london as a base for the SAS/Royal Marines for security is a great option. You could also allow tours to generate income like HMS belfast. Though this would be difficult to do both given the secretive nature of the SAS/SBS.
Well to be perfectly fair, it seems an awful shame to just scrap a very fine ship like this, perhaps they might [list it] as such,

I think, if Chile could get them..(first A/C for them) would be a slap on Argentina's face!
Mar 29th, 2011 - 05:15 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Or, give them to the Islanders...first fleet?
May be a floating museum like the HMS Belfast?
Perhaps the Argentine Airforce could buy it, then they could actually sink it for real, rather than pretend they did :)

I did hear from a man I met once that we also export this unique breed of fighting men, who fly out of airplanes and attach bombs to other airplanes....honest gods truth its true, because he suddenly went quiet when he heard I was from Scotland ;)
They say that the British government is and will unveil its latest super ship 8,000 tons 40 knots tied and untied, Laser weapons and Proton missiles and Pulse cannons,,

Uhu... wow, that's really something briton. From completely broke to Star Wars, what can I say? I'm overwhelmed. : P
take a look at my post #15 above your post martin, and you'll see just what something out of star wars looks like, and is indeed real and about to go into testing phase. Oh forgot to mention if all goes well in testing (which it no doubt will) it will replace the Tornado Jets.

Mar 30th, 2011 - 04:55 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Whats up do you not have enough brain cells to come up with your own joke, and instead steal from someone esle (plagiarism).
The fact it was a american person that made that joke, means in my opinion they are jokingly jealous as to the level of technology and capability of this Unmanned transcontenital jet figther/bomber capable of combat against both manned and unmanned aircraft.
As for falling apart britain, well one look at your inflation rate of 25% and policies designed to punish companies operating in the falklands islands, that only actually effects argentine based companies and share holders says to me that your company will fall apart within the next 5-10 years. whilst britain will pull out of the recession pay its debt (something your country has a habit of defaulting on and not repaying, theifs) and still be going strong 1,000's of years from now. Hell, by the time you lot sort out your wallet busting inflation, britain will have its own warp capable star ships travelling at warp 10 around the galaxy. lol
Tboy, More crap barely has enough brain power to even intellectually challenge his own arsehole to a debate.
Mar 30th, 2011 - 05:51 pm - Link - Report abuse 0The sum total of his intellectual genius is to repeatedly say lewis Clifton is corrupt and then post a Pdf document which quite clearly and categorically states that he isn't.
Oh yes and thieve other peoples jokes or arguments from international news forums, he even stole mine from a Channel Islands news forum :) what a lame arse ahahh!
I bet you he's even got that forum bookmarked as some kind of trophy :)

Mar 30th, 2011 - 06:53 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Marcus you do realise reposting your own post is a step down on the intelligence ladder, don't you? Especially when your only gain by doing so is to simply have the last word, making you twice the idiot you were after posting it the first time lol.
Well at least BAE can create intelligence even its artificial more-crap......
Mar 30th, 2011 - 09:56 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Your parents on the other hand seem to have failed spectacularly in passing this feature on.
You Brits are so stupid that you posted an obsolute piece of useless sh.. airplane that the whole world including Brits commentators can not stop laughing about it. I wonder how all the people rioting in London a few days ago feel about spending so much money in that piece of useless junk.
Mar 30th, 2011 - 11:30 pm - Link - Report abuse 0@Marcos #24 - You won't being calling it a useless junk when it drops a bomb on your house after flying all the way from England just to bomb your house, and then flying all the way back to England after its done so without the need to refuel - Will you Marcos? NOoooo, because with any luck you'll be sat at your computer in your house typing more crap to post on here, when the bomb crashes through the roof, lands in your lap, says hello marcos BOOOOMMMMMM. Bye bye Marcos Lol

Your country is flat broke, there is rioting in the streets and you think they're going to spend £143 million on this stupid thing?
Teaboy... the super ninja roundhouse kick hero, I think your mum needs to ground you, no Star Wars tonight. And if you continue to act stupid no dinner either, straight to bed.
hahah love it More crap , I don't think it takes stupid people to make an artificially intelligent stealth bomber, the tech is ahead of its time not even the US has this stuff yet.
Mar 31st, 2011 - 06:49 pm - Link - Report abuse 0It however takes a stupid person like you...to be eer stupid? I think your mum should really ask your dad for a refund....defective intelligence genes in the end product (you) :)
Martin Martin Martin, have you considered that perhaps BAE also intends other countries to buy this technology?
As for flat broke...why is the country still running :) And steadily getting better :)
143 million without the need to train and pay pilots, and phenomenal mileage without the need to refuel thats a pretty dam good deal If I may say so, you don't even need a drone operator as it flies itself on AI :)
As for riots, a few sad middle aged anarchists and clearly bored drunk students who bugger of back to mummy and daddy when its past their bed time, pah thats not even a dust up!
The lads down at my local do better when either Celtic or rangers looses.

Mar 31st, 2011 - 07:08 pm - Link - Report abuse 0You are more stupid that I thought, the original design of this type plane is German from the 1940's and the American have this technology already for a long time.
sorry fellers, i did the wrong link. then had to go away for a couple of days, before i could alter it,,

Modern stealth aircraft design did not start until the 1970s, but this documentary aims to find out if Nazis Germany developed stealth techniques three decades earlier

Yup... sure looks like it's getting better. ;-)
Lol Martin - If the UK is broke in your eyes then please explain how the UK is the 6th richest country in the world at the same time?
Apr 01st, 2011 - 03:18 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Your lack of understanding on economics and side effects of a recession (increased unemployment) is shocking to say the least. But i can assure you none of what you said in your post above makes the UK broke or even likely to go broke.
Though having a high inflation rate of 25% likely to hit 30% sometime soon, is more likely to make a country go broke. Ohh i forgot thats exactly what argentinas inflation rate (25%) currently is and is likely to hit 30%, perfect example of inflation resulting in a country going broke is Zimbabwe.
So the UK is not broke neither is it likely to go bust anytime soon, where as argentina is on its way to going bust in the next 2-3 years if they do not get a grip and sort out the high inflation.

Well if that were to happen you would have a long wait, because first the Australian navy would have to buy her and commission her as the HMAS Ark Royal, and then sell her to argentina after decommissing her. Which simply wont happen. lol Typos are an pain in the arse when they come back to bite you arn't they!
More crap -The Germans had artificially intelligent stealth bombers that could do intercontinental travel without refuelling? XD XD XD XD LOl your funny. Yes the US have stealth technology, but they haven't actually stuck it in an artificially intelligent machine have they numbskull? And even then US stealth tech is not quite as good as they make out, otherwise how would the Iraqis and Serbs have been able to shoot 2 down?
Apr 04th, 2011 - 07:44 am - Link - Report abuse 0Martin, Martin Martin....do think rationally old Chap...The country is still generating taxes....it therefore cannot be broke, simple economics :)
The country is getting better albeit slowly, unemployment from the Public sector isn't a very good teller, just means we're spending less money if you are a man of history and rational thought you would do a bit of reading and see that the UK has suffered inumerable economic crisis far worse than this one and still recovered. Don't see how this one is an exception :)
