but it seems that they are no good on days with no wind,
we have them all over the place, and they do not look very good,
some say they are no good , others say they are,
I supose what goes arround, comes arround ?
They look awful, but all options should be on the table. and some nations understand that perfectly. Energy policy in Oil and development bio feul, wind and solar energy, nuclear, hydrpower etc etc. That is a winning strategy.
that oil will not last forever..we know that.
There is plenty of oil, only they got to go deeper.
Peak oil = end of CHEAP oil. So if you don't have a comprehensive energy policy, you're screwed.
it's encouraging that steps are being taken all over the world to accomodate the eventual exhaustion of oil reserves of any form. Wind and solar energy, used since the beginning of time, may I say that ? is creating, as noted in the article, new markets. Some machines, because of their design, will always function optimally with one type of energy over another, including the fossils.
Though I have not seen a farm of wind propellers, only sporadic groupings, I get excited when I see them knowing that we are moving forward.
You would think that desert countries would seriously start to harness the solar potential there.

The CROH website (above) offers a wealth of information for anyone wishing to understand the big picture of this energy boondoggle. I believe the facts would hold true no matter where you live. Well the experts do say , that oil will not last forever, so from that point of view, we either find an alternative power, or buy lots of candles ?
